What better time to celebrate British farming and fantastic local produce, and our beef doesn’t get any more local than this!

Bred by William miller and family on the neighbouring High Aketon Farm and butchered by Tony Harrison Butchers – Cockermouth.

The food miles are as low as can be and the standard couldn’t be any higher!

So join us for a proper Cumbrian Steak night at the Bistro!

Yan in the pen

Peppered beef carpaccio served with rocket and parmesan

Sticky beef kebab with homemade coleslaw

Pulled beef in a generous Yorkshire pudding (by a Cumbrian chef!) with red cabbage and horse radish sauce
