Blaithwaite House originated in 1820 as a small farm. In 1969 Blaithwaite's present owner Rev Dennis Donald opened The Main House as a Christian Centre and in the following years old farm buildings were altered to provide further residential accommodation.

Today Blaithwaite is still owned by Dennis whilst the centre is managed by the Christian Charity In2venture (Registered Number 518891). We offer accommodation for 110 guests in three residential buildings - Main House, Stables and Ellrigg. We also have an approved campsite.

In2venture has over 20 years of experience in providing outdoor education for the benefit of young people making Blaithwaite an ideal venue for Church; youth group and school residential visits.

Set in 30 acres Blaithwaite is able to boast fine gardens; two woods and an array of on & off-site activities. Walk around the grounds, relax in the conservatory make use of our games field or participate in a wide range of enjoyable, challenging and educational activities.
